Bio

Jonathan supervises clinical services at CPS, and coordinates the Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment Team.  Jonathan also leads the UHS TIGERSPAW Team, which is a multidisciplinary group of clinicians that focuses on responding to the specific mental health needs of Princeton Student-Athletes.   Jonathan was certified as a sport psychologist in 2013, and enjoys helping Student-Athletes and other elite performers with common issues including performance anxiety, adjustment to injuries or role transitions, motivation, concentration, and team-related concerns.  Jonathan also has a particular interest and expertise in sleep issues.

Jonathan also is invested in supporting students who struggle academically for mental health reasons, including by meeting with many of those who take leaves of absence, as they depart and upon their return.  Jonathan leads the Back at Princeton group to assist these students as they readjust to campus life.

Jonathan is of Mexican and Eastern-European Jewish descent, and is proud of his “J-Lat” heritage.  He values working with students of diverse backgrounds across spectrums of identity.  Jonathan has two sons and a rescue dog named Roxy, who he likes taking to the dog park and on long, meandering walks.
