BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students) is a confidential education program, free and available to all students, where you can:

  • discuss your alcohol use,
  • explore the effects of your drinking, and
  • plan how you might reduce your risks due to alcohol.

The program involves your completion of an online assessment tool and a meeting with a BASICS provider to review your responses.

You may be referred to BASICS after having an alcohol-related incident or you can choose to participate any time you wish to explore how alcohol fits into your life. Make an appointment for BASICS by emailing or calling 609-258-5743.
