Mindfulness for Graduate Students

Through different mind-body techniques, participants learn to access inner resources that improve their ability to cope effectively with the stresses of school, work and personal life.  Participants who have completed the program notice the following:


Increased ability to cope with stressful situations

Ability to maintain greater emotional balance in the midst of challenges

Enhanced concentration and improved academic performance

Ability to approach school and life with greater energy and enthusiasm


Students will receive suggestions for practice between sessions which is strongly encouraged.  Students may drop-in any time during the semester.
