Social Connections and Health for International Students

In an environment where connections are easily made through social media networks, the quality of these connections is more valuable than the quantity. Research suggests that having fewer, but high quality, connections (on-line and off) is an indicator of success.

This relaxed workshop discusses communication styles and friendship patterns, which may be different across the globe. Suggestions about how to create a sense of community will be discussed.
