Tea & Talk: Relationships in America

This relaxed workshop discusses communication styles of Americans, friendship patterns and relationship norms, which may be very different from what you are used to in your home country. Suggestions about how to get to know people in Princeton and how to create a sense of community will be discussed.

Tea & Talk is an informal weekly discussion group designed for international students, scholars and spouses – focused on issues that are common for adjusting to life in the U.S. and the Princeton campus culture.

Tea & Talk meets every Wednesday. Feel free to attend as many (or as few) as your schedule allows. Come and receive insight from other internationals facing similar situations and challenges or simply have general questions answered about why Americans act a certain way! A light lunch (and of course tea!) will be served at each program.
