We offer routine and diagnostic testing to meet your needs. Many of these services are conveniently located in McCosh Health Center. Services include:
Provided by Quest Diagnostics, we offer laboratory testing and specimen processing for students and employees.
These services are covered by most insurance plans, but students may be charged a fee for some services. For employees, United Healthcare and Aetna are accepted at UHS. Employees on private insurance may be charged a fee.
We provide radiologic services (x-rays), and diagnostic testing (e.g., electrocardiogram) for students and employees.
Services for students are free. For employees, services are available through worker’s compensation and as a part of medical surveillance.
For laboratory services, no appointment is necessary. We accept walk-ins during business hours. You must provide us with a script from your health care provider.
For radiology services, employees will be referred to Occupational Health Services to schedule an appointment with an external provider. Students must first have a referral from a UHS Physician. Following referral, we accept walk-ins during business hours.
