Event Description

We are offering a day of immersion into mindfulness, stress reduction, body awareness, and inner care for undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff. Mindfulness is a simple yet powerful ability of the mind to attend more fully to present moment experience. Practicing mindfulness can benefit mental and physical health, well-being, and happiness. Pat Vroom, Ph.D. will be facilitating and joined by Wendy Vroom, who will be guiding gentle yoga.

You will be guided in these practices:

  • sitting, walking and eating meditation
  • body scan
  • mindful movement
  • noble silence

Previous meditation experience is suggested. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bag lunch and a yoga mat.

Register by emailing Dr. Campbell at [email protected].

Co-sponsored by The Office of Religious Life and The Princeton Student Buddhist Group.
