We offer an optional vision plan, managed by Vision Service Plan (VSP), to eligible students and dependents.

Enrollment

Open Enrollment is May 14-June 30, 2024 for coverage effective August 1, 2024. The plan is billed as an annual fee and is billed in full at the time of enrollment. There is no proration. You can enroll yourself and your dependents through MyUHS.

VSP Member Website

Once enrolled in the vision plan, you can visit the VSP website to view your benefits, find a VSP doctor and learn about member resources. For more information, call VSP Member Services  at 1-800-877-7195. When registering online, use your PUID # (TigerCard ID #), not your social security number.

Out-of-Network Claims

The vision plan also provides reimbursement (up to allowable limits) for out-of-network services, if you submit the VSP Out-of-Network Claim Form (.pdf) electronically or by mail. These services need to be paid in full before filing a claim for reimbursement.
