TigerWell envisions Princeton as a health-promoting university where all students flourish and have equitable opportunities to be their best selves. We embed a public health approach throughout campus in order to advance student health, well-being, and flourishing.

Our initiatives for our campus community include:

Partnerships to embed well-being across campus 

  • Consultation with campus partners: Contact us around planning, implementing and evaluating health and well-being projects across topic areas
  • Task forces or committees: Leading efforts to further health and well-being among campus community members
  • Campus Well-Being Partnership: Convening of stakeholders from across the University to communicate, collaborate, and strategize around shared well-being-related goals.

Capacity to support health and well-being

  • Peer Health Advisers (PHAs): Students trained in providing peer support through education and referrals -- for undergraduate students
  • TigerWell Grants Program: Grants to members of the campus community to support innovative and impactful activities, programs, projects, or research that promote well-being at Princeton.
  • UMatter: Communications campaign in collaboration with CPS, SHARE, and student engagement specialists to provide tools to care for yourself and others
  • Well-Being in Learning Spaces: Cross-campus collaboration to promote conditions for student well-being in classrooms and other learning environments.

Scholarly, Assessment, and Research Support 

  • Health behavior research: Research regarding undergraduate and graduate student behaviors and attitudes towards health
  • Health information and resources: Educate yourself on health topics including, alcohol use, sexual and reproductive health, physical fitness, and more
